43rd Moscow International Film Festival
Oleg had its World Premiere at the 43rd Moscow International Film Festival in Moscow, Russia. Home of the film’s subject and star Oleg Vidov, 100s of fans showed up to support their favorite movie star and sold out both screenings. The film received thunderous applause at the end of both showings. Audiences cheered and applauded for 20 minutes chanting “Spasibo, spasibo!” (Thank you, in Russian) as the credits rolled.
We could not be more thrilled to have had the opportunity to screen Oleg in Oleg’s homeland and are so happy to see that his name and his legacy still lives on in Russia.
Check out some wonderful audience reactions following the two screenings of Oleg at the 43rd Moscow International Film Festival.
